vibe was dope. food wasn't anything like OOOOMMMGGG, but the vibe was cool and food was good. waffle was super yummy and sweet. husband got the chilaquiles + chorizo and he said they were good. server was sweet. I would go back if I was in the area again. :) $50 for one waffle, 2 entrees and 2 cups of water.

My favorite breakfast in this neighborhood. Love coming here with the kid, and she loves it too! My favorites are the dishes with salmon, especially the Salmon scramble. My kid loves the oatmeal and the sideways crepe.

A very popular breakfast spot for local Monclarians. TBH it has been years and always so busy so I was prepared to wait. It was a cold overcast Friday morning when we arrived around 9:30. Short queue and seated within 5 minutes. (Yes!) There are tables outside but everyone opted for the warm indoor dining area. They serve Peet's coffee and we ordered buttermilk pancakes (I added bananas) and sweet cheese crepes. Did you know pancakes are only available on the weekdays? They were light and fluffy ... just perfect. Service was quick and they didn't rush us out even though the queue was getting longer.

Visited first time on a rainy Saturday and it was still quite busy. Put our names on waitlist and turnover was about 25 minutes at 9:30AM just so you can get some perspective for a party of 3. Not too loud, it's reasonably what you would expect at a local diner on the weekends. Service was pretty attentive despite the rush. They didn't seem overworked at all which gave our party confidence the food will be worth the wait. The food came out very quickly and was well cooked. Refills for coffee were frequent and they respected our time at the table and did not prioritize rushing you out the door. Food is slightly higher for what you would expect for a breakfast and lunch diner but I don't believe it's more than what we've come to expect for the Bay Area and even Montclair village. Tried the crab cake Benedict with home fries which I thought was really good. Distinct taste of crab cake but not overwhelming fishy. Benedict eggs cooked perfectly, they knew what they were doing. I'd rate it 4/5 I'd recommend it and will come again.
